Tickets are $55 in advance or $65 the day of the event — save $10 when you buy before event day. Advance purchase is also recommended as some properties may reach capacity. Credit cards are only accepted online; in-person purchases (at ticket outlets and on event day) are cash or check only.

- To preserve the homes and gardens on tour and keep the day enjoyable for all guests, children under 12 are not admitted. Every attendee 12 and older needs their own ticket.
- Do I need to reserve a time slot?
- No reservation is needed for the main event. However, if you are interested in the exclusive Prelude tour of Shadowcliff, that event does require advance registration due to limited capacity (80 people, 10 per hour).
- Are the properties accessible for people with mobility challenges?
Terrain varies by property. Some sites feature stairs, grass areas, and natural surfaces. We recommend contacting us if you have specific accessibility questions about particular properties.
- Any helpful hints for the day of the event?
A few tips to make your experience more pleasant:
- Start at any of the featured properties — you don't have to visit the homes in any particular order. If one location is busy, head to another and circle back later.
- At the first home you visit, you will receive an Event Book and a wristband that will be used as admission to the remaining homes.
- We recommend comfortable walking shoes, weather-appropriate clothing, and sun protection. Many properties feature outdoor gardens and natural landscapes, so dress accordingly for an active day outdoors.
- You will be asked to wear booties over your shoes to protect the homes. Please keep your booties and use them throughout the day.
- Pictures cannot be taken inside the homes.
- Docents welcome your questions — please ask! We know you will enjoy your day in Door County and we are delighted to share it with you.
- We encourage you to support the local businesses listed in the Event Book; they have exhibited a sincere interest in the Door County Medical Center Auxiliary and its efforts, and are deserving of your patronage and support.
